Caroline Besse: Life in Colour
Caroline Besse’s studio is truly constructed in her image. Here, serenity, generosity and creativity are all encompassing. The artist has created her own medium by harmoniously bringing together Western methods and oriental techniques on Japanese washi paper, Chinese ink, and paint created by crushed minerals. I met Caroline in Paris to discuss her artistic process, the unexpected twists and turns of life.
Interior Design Trends: Fall-Winter 2022-2023
Over the last two years, our homes have become offices, spaces to entertain, and, with a bit of luck, sanctuaries. It isn’t so surprising, then, that we now feel the need for a bit of change, brought by touches of colour and texture. I went around Paris Déco Off and Maison & Objet to spot this season’s trends before they hit the showrooms and the living rooms and share my findings with you.

Joie de vivre
My aim with Joie de Vivre is simple: to share my passion for the French art of living with you. Whether it be design trends, Parisian museums, or the beloved restaurants of the capital, I am taking you with me every step of the way. Delve into a space just for you and me, where I share my tastes, my passions, and all my tips to bring a breath of fresh air into your home. Yet Joie de Vivre is much more than a design blog. You’ll discover interviews with artists and craftsmen, my passion for French savoir faire, and my fascination with all things culture. We’ll explore every nook and cranny that inspire my collections, from Sunday markets to people watching, not to mention shopping and, of course, eating. I promise to show you all the hidden gems of the city, I just have one thing to ask you first; do your worst to keep my secrets…
